Obscene Material Burnt - 195315 viewsFilms, photographs and books seized by Newark police during the last two years and ruled obscene by the courts were burned publicly at the municipal dock here. Catholic and Protestant clergymen were among 40 guests who attended the burning, which was conducted by, left to right: Police Inspector Eugene O'Malley; Police Commissioner Arthur A.
